Rebecca ( Becky ) Ewing

Born In Havana Cuba under a Communist Government, I have learned to Love and Respect This Magnificent Country ! My parents were both Preachers and Bible school teachers or The Nazarene Church. With the Help of the church were were able to leave Cuba in 1967 and Move to Spain. We lived in Spain for almost a Year. I went to Kindergarten in Cuba and in Spain and again in The US!
From Spain we flew to New York. I will never forget flying into New York and seeing so many people all speaking English and we could not understand a single word. Back then Spansih was not as common as it is today. My dad could only say Hot Dogs when he ordered at a Restaurant, WE were so sick of Hot Dogs. One day we was bound and determined to order something different so he tried to describe to the waitress what he wanted. He was trying to describe a Hamburger ( well actually 6 of them) The Waitress brought him 6 Hot dogs instead...He was very frustrated. We then Moved to Demin New Mexico where my dad and mom pastored a church there. I have very cold memories of Demin New Mexico. It was cold and the house we lived in had no insulation and very little heat. I remember all of us sleeping in one double bed (6 of us) to stay warm.
From Demin we Moved to Yuma Arizona. We lived there 3 years. After there we Moved to LA California. I went to school there from 3 grade to 6th grade.
We then moved to Houston Texas...That is the state I call home. That is where I finished school and had my babies.
My dad and mom moved allot due to establishing churches then moving on once they were established.
I married my first husband at the young age of 17...totally clueless of life and marriage. I had two fab Kids...Kevin and Kim Tarver. My Husband (Ex now) Got transferred to Crossett Arkansas with the company he was working at. So we moved to Arkansas in 1982.
We later got a divorce and I moved to Russellville Arkansas in 1986 where I married my current husband James E Ewing.
We married and combined two families. He had Three boys and I had one boy and one girl.
Life then became very interesting and complicated to say the least.
At the time I was not

Labor Day

We all got togather today, excpet Kevin, Amber, Kierstyn and Matt. We really did miss them. We had Homemade Egg Rolls made by Kim and "Oh My " what a treat. Kim did such a great Job. David did really good, by picking out the great deserts. The kids had a great time in the pool and Jr worked on his Waterfall and pond #2. He has 40 bass fish in the 1200 gallon pond and the 1800 gallon pond had Koi and gold fish and this 4 foot waterfall with 40 feet of stream. I am very proud of his great accomplishments. Kim is 6 week pregnant today, and the baby now has nubs where his feet and fingers will be growing. He also has a heartbeat.
Last night we all went to the Dover Football game and watched Crystal Cheer. She is a senior this year and will be performing at the Macy's parade in New York, we are very proud of her.
Kendra also got the award for "Best all around Cheerleader " at her summer cheerleading camp. Christian was the "Person of the Day" in his school this week. He starts football practice this week. Kendra is cheerleader for the Pee wee football and we will be driving to watch her cheer soon. Kierstyn is walking at only 9 months, and Derek is doing great in school and his team won the championship this summer for baseball.
Well this is my first post so I will be doing mostly catch up.
